Filo Publishing

Filo Publishing was established in June 2006. The first author we published in Poland was Nigella Lawson, world-renowned culinary writer. Filo has published 9 of her books so far.

Our cookery titles also include Sophie Dahl, granddaughter of Roald Dahl, who wrote among others “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. Since 2014 Filo Publishing has been exclusive publisher of Yotam Ottolenghi in Poland. In 2017 Nigel Slater – author, columnist, diarist and programme maker – will join the group of Filo’s culinary writers.

Filo Publishing is also engaged in printing Guide Books, including Anthea Turner’s “How to be a Perfect Housewife” series, which became a best-seller in Poland. We also publish books about fashion. Among our authors in this area is Nina Garcia with her best-selling books illustrated by Ruben Toledo.

The total number of copies sold by us amounts to hundreds thousand copies.

After establishing the position of two publishing series – Cooking and Guide Books Filo has decided to launch the next publishing series – Contemporary Israeli Prose.
